MW4 DMZ Netshin IT Room key: location, floor route and exit
Follow the upper server-room route, then match the IT-room lock before spending your key.
The Netshin IT Room key is used inside Netshin Tech Complex in The Grid. An original walkthrough takes an elevator-shaft route, climbs the stairs to the floor the creator calls 14, then turns left into the server area and finds the locked IT room at the back. Treat the floor number as a route landmark and confirm the full lock name. A fixed key spawn and guaranteed room rewards are not established.
- Destination: Netshin Tech Complex in The Grid
- Reported route: elevator shaft → stairs → floor 14
- IT-room lock at the back of the server area
- Bring a parachute only if your exit plan needs one
Use your Netshin IT Room key at the named IT-room lock, not the first locked door in the tower. Netshin contains several keyed destinations. The important sequence is to reach the upper server area, identify the correct entrance and leave enough equipment for the trip back down.
Netshin IT Room location: The Grid
Head to Netshin Tech Complex within The Grid. The current key listing gives the broader G6 area; it does not mark a surveyed entrance. Open the key’s map view to orient yourself, then use the building landmarks.
The Grid’s wider threat rating and the tech complex’s Extreme interior are different scales. Do not assume an ordinary city loadout is enough for an extended search through the high-rise. Review the threat-level guide before committing valuable gear.
Pack for the approach and the exit
Bring the correct key, armor, healing and enough ammunition to clear your route. A Self-Revive can be useful insurance against a down, but do not treat it as a substitute for cover or a clear stairwell. Leave space for the specific loot you want to extract.
If your escape plan includes leaving an elevated opening, check that you have a usable parachute. Otherwise, plan to return by the interior route. Reaching scaffolding or a ledge does not establish a safe drop.
Follow the elevator-shaft and upper stair route
Mr ZEUS OK’s original walkthrough describes this approach:
- Reach the tower and locate the elevator shaft. The creator parachutes into a middle section and says a lower approach is also possible. That is not proof that every exterior opening connects to the route.
- Use the shaft route upward. At approximately 0:45–1:03, the narration identifies the shaft. Find the same interior route rather than assuming any working lift takes you to the correct corridor.
- Clear toward the stairwell. The creator reaches it around 1:47, then continues up. Avoid leaving active enemies on the landing behind you.
- Look for the floor described as 14. At about 2:01–2:17, the narration calls out that floor. Treat the number as a reported landmark, not a complete floor-by-floor survey.
- Take the doorway on the left into the server area. The walkthrough points it out around 2:22. Continue toward the back of that area.
- Read the locked-room prompt. The creator identifies the IT room at the back around 2:37–3:04. Match Netshin IT Room to the key before using it.
If those landmarks do not match the corridor in front of you, return to the last identifiable landing. Repeatedly trying other doors can waste both time and keys. Roze’s High-Rise Armory and other Netshin locks are separate destinations.
What can be inside, and is the key guaranteed?
The route video describes weapon cases and nearby electronics searches, but it does not establish a fixed reward table. A key-room title promising Manuals is not a drop guarantee. Distinguish a Weapon Manual from a finished gun, a Blueprint and a Printer recipe before deciding what to carry out.
A separate firsthand preview account found the key in residential loot and encountered Jang-ui and turrets during its Netshin visit. Neither observation establishes a repeatable key spawn or a guaranteed Lieutenant encounter. Use the Jang-ui record for encounter guidance rather than assuming the IT key itself summons a boss.
Leave before the route becomes a recovery problem
Before adding another floor, check your ammunition, plates, health, bag space and active exfils. A useful unlock is a reason to consider leaving.
The preview account describes a vent leading to scaffolding under a sky bridge, but its player returned through the building after realizing they lacked a parachute. Treat the vent as a reported exit lead, not a guaranteed escape shortcut. Choose between a prepared elevated exit and the stairs you already know; keep the exfil guide available for the final journey.
Quick questions
Where do I use the Netshin IT Room key?
At the locked IT room in the upper server area of Netshin Tech Complex in The Grid. Match the full room name at the lock rather than using another high-rise key.
What floor is the Netshin IT Room on?
The original creator describes floor 14. Use the upper stair landing and left-hand server-area doorway as landmarks; no surveyed floor plan or precise door coordinate is provided here.
Where does the Netshin IT Room key spawn?
A firsthand preview account reports finding it in an apartment-building locker. The exact building and a guaranteed pickup are not established.
Is a Weapon Manual guaranteed inside?
No. Named room access does not establish a fixed Manual, Blueprint or Lieutenant reward. Read your actual loot cards and extract with any unlock item you find.
