Air Base DRC Weapons Locker: armory route and key

Reach the armory, turn right and use the window to find the named yellow-and-blue locker.

In short

An original Air Base run reaches The Armory during Operation Iron Citadel, turns right, jumps through a window and finds a yellow-and-blue locker between the surrounding lockers. Its prompt reads AIR BASE DRC WEAPONS LOCKER — UNLOCK. Bring the matching Air Base DRC Weapons Locker key; its acquisition is not verified here.

  • Destination: Chang-san Air Base bunker
  • Demonstrated route: Iron Citadel's armory
  • Turn right, through a window, between lockers
  • Named locker verified; key acquisition unverified

Look for the yellow-and-blue locker inside the airbase armory area, and read its full prompt before using a key. Original gameplay visibly shows AIR BASE DRC WEAPONS LOCKER — UNLOCK with The Armory and Extreme on the HUD.

The Air Base DRC Weapons Locker key names a destination deep in the Chang-san Air Base bunker. Its key card lists B6. The map reference identifies the wider area, not a surveyed final locker position.

Bring the matching key

Check that your item is Air Base DRC Weapons Locker before deploying. Its acquisition method remains unverified here. The recorded clip starts with access to the key and shows its use; it does not show a pickup, mission reward or boss drop.

The Reactor DRC Locker key belongs to a different destination. The Supreme Leader Access Card, Air Base Access Card – Multi Use and Iron Citadel’s mission access-card upgrades are also separate identities. Do not treat similar wording, a shared rarity icon or access to one bunker door as proof that these items substitute for the named DRC key.

Reach the armory through Iron Citadel

The demonstrated route selects Operation Iron Citadel. Follow the Iron Citadel walkthrough through its access-card upgrades and three keycode parts to reach the armory. Use the code shown in your own objective tracker; no universal armory code is established.

Prepare armor, healing and ammunition for the bunker rather than assuming the locker is an uncontested stop. Leave inventory space for a useful find and decide who carries the key. Reaching the mission armory and opening the DRC locker are two different interactions.

Find the window and yellow-and-blue locker

  1. Once inside the armory, use the demonstrated entrance as your starting viewpoint.
  2. Turn right and locate the window shown on the armory’s side.
  3. Jump through that window, then move between the surrounding lockers.
  4. Find the tall yellow locker with a blue lower section and DRC branding.
  5. Move close enough to confirm AIR BASE DRC WEAPONS LOCKER — UNLOCK, then use the matching key.

“Right” is relative to that armory approach, not a compass direction for every entrance. If your route enters from another side, use the window and locker colours as landmarks. A similar office door elsewhere in the airbase is not confirmation that you found this container.

The route’s author says to select Iron Citadel. The observed run supports that access path; it does not prove that this is the only possible way to reach the locker in every deployment.

Check the loot without assuming a fixed reward

After the named unlock, the container is labelled Elite Weapons Locker. The clip’s narration reports a three-plate helmet armor item and a Cronin Weapon Manual. The sampled container view shows a weapon and armor slot, but does not independently establish the Manual’s complete model name or a fixed loot table.

Treat those narrated items as one reported opening. Do not plan around a guaranteed Manual, recipe or Ultra item. Read the item card in your own container, and use the Weapon Manuals guide to distinguish a Manual from a finished gun or crafting recipe.

Continue the mission and plan your exit

Opening this locker does not complete Iron Citadel. Check your tracker for the remaining sabotage, manifest and extraction objectives. Keep the required mission item safe and avoid filling every backpack slot before collecting it.

If you only came for the locker, reassess supplies and the available exit rather than adding another locked room on the strength of a similar key name. Compare all three catalogued DRC lockers or return to the Key Finder to choose your next destination.

Quick questions

Where is the Air Base DRC Weapons Locker?

Inside the Chang-san Air Base bunker's armory area. The demonstrated route enters The Armory during Iron Citadel, turns right through a window and finds a yellow-and-blue locker among the other lockers. Match AIR BASE DRC WEAPONS LOCKER — UNLOCK.

How do you get the Air Base DRC Weapons Locker key?

A verified acquisition method is not established here. The opening clip demonstrates where the key is used, not where it was found. Do not assume it is an Iron Citadel reward or a Lieutenant drop.

Do you need Iron Citadel to open the locker?

The demonstrated route uses Operation Iron Citadel to reach its armory. That establishes one route, not proof that every free-roam or alternate entry is impossible. Mission access and the named locker key are separate requirements.
