MW4 DMZ Compounds: clearing, safes and Medical Extraction Intel
Choose the objective first: clearing a Compound, opening its safe and collecting Order intel are separate checks.
Jump to a section
Approach a military Compound with armor, healing and an exit plan, clear its defenders while following the active objective, then search for the loot or intel you came for. No One Left specifically requires clearing a Compound and collecting Medical Extraction Intel afterward. Opening a safe is a different task.
- Compounds are fortified military sites
- Loud or prolonged attacks can draw more forces
- No One Left requires an intel pickup
- Clearing and safe opening are separate objectives
Decide what you need from the Compound before attacking. A site clear, a safe for Robbery and Medical Extraction Intel for No One Left are different goals. Knowing which counter you need saves a second search after the fight.
Prepare for the raid
Compounds are fortified military positions with improved loot, intel and potential armored-vehicle access. Loud or prolonged attacks can draw additional forces, so preparation matters more than rushing the nearest gate.
| Prepare | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Armor and spare plates | Gives you a way to recover between engagements |
| Healing and wound treatment | Avoids ending the raid with damage you cannot manage |
| Enough ammunition | Lets you finish the required fight without depending on the next enemy’s drop |
| Backpack space | Leaves room for the required intel and useful loot |
| An exit route | Keeps extraction part of the plan rather than an afterthought |
Inspect earned Survival Kits if you are short of basic supplies. The armor guide and healing guide cover equipment choices; a Compound is a poor place to discover that your Medkit stayed in the Stash.
Approach and clear the defenders
- Pick a nearby site using the map and check the live threat around it.
- Observe an entrance and nearby cover before crossing open ground. Choose a position you can retreat from if the fight grows.
- Deal with isolated defenders first where practical. Stealth can reduce pressure, but it does not make the site safe from other Operators.
- Follow the active objective or progress display while working through the site. Do not assume a fixed enemy count or timer applies to every Compound.
- Reassess armor, healing and ammunition between groups. Reposition if the original entrance becomes a poor place to fight.
In a squad, agree who is covering approaches and who is checking rooms. Solo, avoid searching containers while enemies still control the doorway. These are tactical recommendations, not guaranteed methods of preventing reinforcement or player attacks.

Finish No One Left
The Human Intel Order lists two objectives:
- Clear a Compound.
- Loot the Medical Extraction Intel dropped afterward.
After the clear registers, search for the named intel and collect it. Killing the defenders alone is not the second action. Check the item name and the Order counter rather than assuming that any valuable document or safe contents count.
If the combat objective is checked but the pickup is not, stay focused on the missing intel. The tracker can tell you which action remains; there is no verified universal fix documented here for a missing drop or a stalled clear counter.
The Human Intel walkthrough also covers Hunter and Triage Protocol. Do not add their tower or Clinic objectives to the Compound task unless you are deliberately combining several goals.
Search rooms with a purpose
If you came for a safe, use the safe search and opening guide for reported room leads in Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Foxtrot. Clearing the site does not automatically open the safe or move its contents into your backpack.
If you came for ingredients, inspect the actual pickup names and retain what your tracked upgrade needs. Improved loot is not a promise of a particular ingredient, key or rarity on every visit.
Know when to leave
Once the required clear and pickup objectives register, check your extraction time and remaining supplies before another fight. A full backpack does not require a second Compound raid.
Use the exfil checklist and protect an important pickup in an available Secure Slot where applicable. If Robbery is also active, separately check its 5,000 total backpack and loadout value extraction requirement before leaving.
Quick questions
Does clearing a Compound finish No One Left?
Not by itself. The Order also requires collecting the Medical Extraction Intel dropped after clearing a Compound. Check both objectives.
Is a Compound safe the same as the required intel?
No. Opening a safe and looting Medical Extraction Intel are different actions. Follow the exact item name and your current Order tracker.
Should I clear every Compound I pass?
Choose fights that serve your current objective. A raid costs armor, healing, ammunition and extraction time; valuable loot does not guarantee a safe exit.
