MW4 DMZ Hazard Storehouse key: I5 cooling-tower route
The recorded in-game card gives I5, correcting older I7 listings.
Jump to a section
Take the Hazard Storehouse key to the materials warehouse south of Haneul Nuclear Reactor’s cooling towers. Original gameplay shows I5 on the card and a white STORAGE shed with a light-blue door. Confirm the named lock before opening. The key’s original pickup source and number of uses remain unknown.
- In-game card: I5
- South of the reactor cooling towers
- White STORAGE shed, light-blue door
- Acquisition and use count unverified
Use I5 and the cooling towers as your starting clues. The Hazard Storehouse key opens a materials warehouse at Haneul Nuclear Reactor. Its filmed card gives a clearer destination than the earlier conflicting listings.
Find the shed
- Bring the named key in your deployed inventory and prepare radiation protection for the reactor approach. Check your mask condition and extraction options before entering.
- Search south of the cooling towers, using I5 from the in-game card. The key map shows a search area; it does not survey the interior doorway.
- Look for a white corrugated shed marked STORAGE, a light-blue door and nearby blue barrels.
- Confirm HAZARD STOREHOUSE on the lock. Similar storage buildings are not proof you have found the right room.
The recorded key card identifies I5, superseding older I7 listings. The area photograph above illustrates the reactor, rather than the exact shed.
What has been seen inside
The recorded opening shows shelves, loose table loot and an equipment case. It does not establish guaranteed rare materials, a recipe, a particular weapon or a fixed payout. Decide whether to continue looting from your remaining protection, backpack space and available exit.
How to get the key
The original pickup source remains unknown. A written report describes taking one from a defeated operator near the Cheongun Outskirts gas-station exfil. That identifies a recovery, not where the operator first obtained it, and does not make the gas station a key spawn.
Stack size and consumption per unlock also remain unverified. Check your inventory after using it rather than applying another key’s durability rules.
For other reactor locks, compare The Chemist’s Secure Armory, Reactor 02 Control Room and Reactor DRC Locker. Each is a separate key and destination.
Quick questions
Is Hazard Storehouse in I5 or I7?
Recorded gameplay shows I5 on the named key’s in-game card. That is stronger evidence than the older I7 listing; use the cooling towers and named lock to identify the room.
Where does the Hazard Storehouse key drop?
Its original source is unknown. Recovering one from another operator does not establish a fixed container or enemy drop.
