What time does MW4 DMZ early access start?
Activision has only confirmed Tuesday, October 20, 2026 (PT), with no exact time yet. It is for anyone who pre-ordered a digital edition, on any platform; physical copies are not included. The full launch is October 23. Early access details →
How do you unlock weapons in DMZ?
Exfil with the weapon’s Weapon Manual. That permanently unlocks it at the Gunsmith and pays 5,000 DMZ Cash. Picking up the gun itself does not unlock it. Weapon levels and attachments are shared with Multiplayer and Warzone. Weapons guide →
What do I lose if I die without exfil?
Your Operator goes MIA and all unsecured gear is lost. You keep the XP from the run, and anything in your backpack’s Secure Slots survives. Put your most valuable item there before you take a risk. Beginner guide →
Where should I land as a new player?
Start in a Low-threat area: Cheongun Village, Mirae General Hospital, Songdo Wharf, the outside of Imjin Farmland or the edges of Deadtown. Stay away from the Chang-san Bunker and the Nenshin Tech Complex in The Grid, both rated Extreme. Hajin map guide →
How do I unlock more 3D Printer recipes?
The 3D Printer opens at DMZ Level 2. You get more recipes by leveling up, finishing DMZ Orders, or finding a Recipe item in Hajin and exfilling with it, which also pays 5,000 DMZ Cash. 3D Printer guide →
How do I get rid of a bounty?
Pay it off, fully or in part, at a Bounty Station in Hajin. Losing your Dog Tag or dying without exfil also clears it. Bounties carry over between matches, and at $100,000 you are marked on the Tac Map for nearby players. Bounty guide →
Can I reset my traits in DMZ?
Not directly; trait picks are permanent. The only reset is Operator Prestige, which removes that Operator’s traits and gives a permanent trait in return. Each Operator has 18 Trait Points, with a cap of 9 per tree, so plan your two main trees. Traits guide →
Can I play DMZ solo?
Yes. Matchmaking tries to put you with squads of a similar size, but solo-only lobbies are not promised, so expect to meet full squads. Turn on Squad Fill in the Ready Up menu if you want random teammates. Beginner guide →
