Compound Echo loot route: garage safe and Apartment B key

Use the first building to look for the neighbouring apartment's key, then decide whether the second building is worth the extra exposure.

In short

At Compound Echo in Hajin River Heights, the recorded route checks the central garage safe, uses a vehicle and rear pipe to enter the first apartment building, then searches for the Gangbyeon Apartment B key. It crosses to the neighbouring building for another safe and keyed access. The key pickup is shown, but its presence and the loot are not guaranteed each run.

  • Location: Compound Echo, Hajin River Heights
  • First search: left side of the central garage
  • Observed pickup: Gangbyeon Apartment B key
  • Militia Arms Depot uses a different key

Start at Compound Echo in Hajin River Heights. The useful loop is the central garage, the first apartment building and the neighbouring building reached from the roof. Its distinctive reward is an observed Gangbyeon Apartment B key pickup inside the first building.

Echo is Medium threat in the recorded footage. Plan for defenders and other players rather than assuming a quiet farm. Bring healing, armor and ammunition, and identify an extraction option before committing to both buildings.

Find the garage and check the first safe

Use Echo’s map area to reach the compound, then locate the parking garage between the apartment buildings. The recorded route goes down into that garage and turns left to search the corner safe.

Check the safe before spending time moving a vehicle. Its loot is variable, and the demonstrated safe position does not promise an unopened container when you arrive. If another squad is already working the compound, decide whether to leave or approach from cover.

The safe guide explains the opening interaction and Robbery’s separate carried-value extraction check. Opening this safe is not the same as clearing the whole compound for an Order.

Use the rear pipe to enter the first building

The demonstrated approach uses a truck from the garage. Drive it behind the apartment buildings and, looking at them from the rear, choose the building on the left. Park beside the exterior vertical pipe so the vehicle gives you enough height to reach the climb.

Climb from the vehicle onto the exterior ledge/pipe route, work upward and enter through the upper window. From inside, unbolt the door used by the route. The footage also describes bringing another vehicle to reach the same exterior climb.

These are approach landmarks rather than surveyed coordinates. Check that you can make the climb and return safely before abandoning your vehicle. Entering through a window does not make the remaining rooms free of enemies.

An alternative door from the garage is described as behaving incorrectly, including frozen enemies and access problems. Do not build the run around that behaviour or assume it persists after updates.

Search the rooms for the Apartment B key

Search the first building’s rooms and inspect loose items on furniture as well as containers. The recorded pickup card clearly names GANGBYEON APARTMENT B, with Uncommon rarity, while the HUD identifies Compound Echo.

The key is shown on furniture in that run. Check shelves, beds and nearby surfaces as room searches, rather than treating one object as a guaranteed spawn. If you cannot find the key, the first building’s ordinary loot and safe may be the end of the useful route for this deployment.

This key is different from Militia Arms Depot, which is associated with a separate lower-floor armory. An apartment key and an armory key are not interchangeable.

Cross to the neighbouring building

With the Apartment B key, return to the roof and assess the crossing to the neighbouring apartment block. The reported loop checks another safe and uses keyed access in that building. Match Gangbyeon Apartment B at the lock before using your key; do not spend it at an unrelated armory.

The rooftop approach can avoid opening the ground-level front door first, but it does not prevent another player from reaching you by another route. Keep cover and a way down in mind. Do not jump if the distance or landing is uncertain.

A weapon locker is visible during the later search, including a Warlord in the sampled opening. That is a loot observation, not a promise of a specific weapon, rarity, Manual or Blueprint on your next visit.

Leave when you have what you came for

Secure an eligible valuable item if you have a suitable slot, then review the rest of your backpack. Keep missing crafting ingredients ahead of low-priority valuables and retain enough supplies to reach extraction.

The loot decisions guide helps with that choice. If your objective is clearing a Compound or collecting Medical Extraction Intel, follow the Compound objectives guide and its tracker checks separately. A two-building loot visit does not by itself complete those tasks.

Quick questions

Where was the Gangbyeon Apartment B key found?

The recorded run shows the named Uncommon key as loose loot on furniture inside the first building at Compound Echo. Search the rooms; it is one observed pickup, not a guaranteed spawn.

Can the Apartment B key open the Militia Arms Depot?

They are different key identities. Match the name at the lock instead of assuming access to an apartment also opens its separate armory.

Is the garage-door shortcut guaranteed to work?

No. An alternative garage-door route is described as buggy in the recorded run. This guide uses the demonstrated rear pipe and window approach instead of relying on frozen enemies or that door behaviour.
