MW4 DMZ Special Delivery: bomb parts and launcher walkthrough
The laptop and UAV Tower are reported alternatives; follow the objective you receive.
Collect the three bomb components, craft at the marked workbench and complete the assigned laptop or UAV Tower stage. Reach the Mobile Launch Platform, plant the bomb, finish the defense and take cover until the operation completes.

Finish the defense after planting. Special Delivery ends with the Mobile Launch Platform, but reaching it and placing the explosive are not the final checks.
Collect parts and assemble the bomb
The reported component set is Explosives, Explosives Wiring and Explosives Numpad. Follow the collection markers, take each item and confirm the counter reaches three. Then travel to the operation’s workbench and finish Craft Bomb.
This is an in-field mission craft. Returning to the FOB printer or collecting ordinary materials does not perform that interaction. Check the prompt on the bench before treating a normal loot container as the crafting station. Reported parts and route variants.
Follow the technical objective on your screen

Reports describe different crafting buildings and technical stages. You do not need to visit both a laptop from one walkthrough and the tower from another when your tracker only assigns one.
For a tower objective, inspect the waypoint’s height as well as distance. For longer travel, look at the remaining match time before detouring into optional fights.
Plant, defend and take cover
At the launch platform, use the marked planting surface. Once the defense starts, hold a position with cover and watch the objective’s timer. Follow Take Cover when it appears and move away from the explosive before detonation.
Wait for the operation-completion message. Do not assume the arrival marker, planting animation or first enemy wave means the job is finished.
If the operation is not advancing
- Parts at 2/3: return to the remaining collection marker and check the actual pickup.
- No craft prompt: confirm the parts objective completed and that you reached the operation workbench.
- Wrong laptop or tower: match the objective name before changing locations.
- Bomb planted, job active: finish the defense and cover instructions.
After the result, leave time for your own extraction. The source runs establish routes, not a guaranteed payout or permanent launcher location.
