Reactor DRC Locker: key, underwater location and loot
The locker is below the waterline. Prepare protection and clear inventory space before diving.
The Reactor DRC Locker is underwater in Reactor 02 at Haneul Nuclear Reactor. Its matching Ultra key is listed as an Operation Fallen Ember reward. Bring Radiation Gear and a Gas Mask, reach the pool and look for REACTOR DRC LOCKER — UNLOCK. One recorded opening visibly contains an Ultra 3-Plate Ballistic Gel Vest; that is an example, not a guaranteed reward.
- Matching key: Reactor DRC Locker
- Acquisition: listed Fallen Ember reward
- Named unlock verified underwater in Reactor 02
- Observed Ultra 3-Plate Ballistic Gel Vest; loot varies
Take the Reactor DRC Locker key to the pool inside Reactor 02. Original gameplay shows the named underwater unlock and the opened Elite Weapons Locker. The difficult parts are reaching it with enough protection, finding the prompt in dark water and leaving with the loot.

Get the matching key before the trip
The key is listed as a reward for Operation Fallen Ember. Use the Fallen Ember walkthrough if you still need to complete its rod puzzle, decontamination and escape objectives.
Check your reward and inventory after completion. The DRC key is separate from the Reactor 02 Control Room key and The Chemist’s Secure Armory key. Their rooms do not share an established universal reactor key.
Pack for radiation and the dive
Bring Radiation Gear and a Gas Mask, with armor, healing and enough ammunition for the return route. Check mask condition before entering and keep supplies accessible. The radiation protection guide covers the equipment distinction.
Leave backpack space before diving. The recorded player interrupts looting because they are about to drown, then discusses a nearly broken mask. Treat breathing time and radiation protection as separate constraints; a valuable roll is not a reason to remain underwater until your escape becomes impossible.
Reach Reactor 02 and descend toward its pool
Use the reactor destination map to reach the complex, then identify Reactor 02 in the game. The key card lists H4, while the existing approximate community room reference uses I4. Neither reference is a surveyed underwater locker coordinate. Use the building name and final unlock prompt to confirm the destination.
The recorded reactor loot route shows exterior ladder and upper-structure approaches into Reactor 02. A reported locker approach follows stairs toward the damaged roof, climbs a ladder and descends along debris toward the bottom. Assess the landing surfaces before each drop; do not turn a roof-entry description into a blind jump.
The dedicated locker opening begins its relevant sequence already inside Reactor 02, so it does not establish every turn from the outside. Once you reach the flooded lower area, the demonstrated search continues underwater. The western side of the pool is a reported search lead; the readable named interaction is the final confirmation.
Match the underwater prompt and open the locker
- Check your protection, breathing time and available inventory space at the pool edge.
- Search below the waterline. Visibility in the demonstrated run is very poor.
- Move close enough to read REACTOR DRC LOCKER — UNLOCK before using your key.
- Inspect the opened Elite Weapons Locker, take the item you need and return to air promptly.
In the observed opening, the HUD still shows Operation Fallen Ember — Initialize the First Fuel Rod. That demonstrates a locker opening during that objective state; it does not establish that starting a new Fallen Ember run is universally required to use an already owned key.
What the locker actually contains in the observed run
The opened container visibly shows an Ultra 3-Plate Ballistic Gel Vest, with a displayed value of 15,000, alongside other contents. This is an observed roll. The player says this was their second opening and that the first was less impressive.

Do not treat the video’s whole raid summary as this locker’s loot table. A later Ultra Blueprint is explicitly described as coming from a Lieutenant. A Weapon Manual is mentioned in the ending summary without its exact container being established. Neither observation proves a guaranteed Manual or recipe in the underwater locker.
For the difference between a Manual, recipe and finished weapon, use the Weapon Manuals guide. Compare the other DRC lockers before spending a different key.
Leave with the item you came for
Check the pool exit before extending the search. Cover squadmates while they surface, then reassess mask condition, healing and the route to an active exfil.
Use an eligible Secure Slot when available and check what actually returned to your inventory after the deployment. Opening the locker, completing Fallen Ember and retaining the loot are separate outcomes.
Quick questions
How do you get the Reactor DRC Locker key?
The mission briefing lists it as an Operation Fallen Ember reward. Check the reward and your inventory after completion; owning a different reactor key does not open this locker.
Is the Reactor DRC Locker underwater?
Yes. Original gameplay shows the named REACTOR DRC LOCKER — UNLOCK prompt underwater with Reactor 02 on the HUD, followed by the opened Elite Weapons Locker.
Does the Reactor DRC Locker guarantee a Weapon Manual or recipe?
No fixed loot table is established. One opening shows an Ultra 3-Plate Ballistic Gel Vest. The same video's later Blueprint is described as a Lieutenant drop, and its final raid summary does not identify every item's container.
