Plan for two separate locks

Lock or item nameWhat it refers to
Gangbyeon Apartment BAccess to the apartment building.
Militia Arms DepotThe armory on its lower floor.
Gangbyeon Apartment AThe neighbouring apartment block.

A clip stopping at a glass entrance marked GANGBYEON APARTMENT B demonstrates the building lock. It does not prove that the Militia key opens that entrance or that a separate depot door has been opened.

Find the correct building

  1. Go to Hajin River Heights and locate the fortified apartment compound, known as Compound Echo. The Militia key card lists G7.
  2. Identify Gangbyeon Apartment B, rather than the neighbouring A block. Read the entrance prompt to distinguish them.
  3. If the building is locked, use the matching Apartment B access. Do not spend the Militia key expecting it to replace a different building key.
  4. Once inside, search the lower floor for the armory named on the Militia card. Confirm Militia Arms Depot on the lock before interacting.

This is a building-and-key identification route. An exact surveyed interior doorway is not established here; no room photo or approximate area pin should be treated as proof of that final door.

Where the Militia key has been found

One observed pickup came from a duffel bag in The Citadel East Wing at the Political Prison. Treat it as an example of field loot, not a guaranteed source. A long prison detour makes little sense if the only reason for going is an assumed repeatable key spawn.

Do you need to clear the compound?

Opening the apartment or a key room and completing Clear a Compound are different tasks. If you are there for the Side Op, follow the Compound Echo route and its remaining-enemy checks. A single unlocked door does not establish completion.

As practical preparation, choose a fallback out of the apartment block and avoid standing in the open while sorting loot. No fixed depot inventory is established, so bring the key for access rather than a promised specific drop.

Quick questions

Will the Militia key open Gangbyeon Apartment B's entrance?

They are different named keys. Use the matching building access, then identify the lower-floor Militia armory lock.

Is the key guaranteed in the Citadel duffel?

No. That is an observed pickup example, not a repeatable spawn guarantee.
