Every Backpack in MW4 DMZ, compared
Your backpack holds everything you loot. Without one you carry the Basic Pack with eight slots. Bigger backpacks add slots, some add a weapon slot, and some add Secure Slots that keep their items even if you fail to exfil.

How backpacks work
- Every backpack has a separate pouch for the four resources, so they never take a slot.
- Anything not in a Secure Slot is lost if you fail to exfil.
- Weapon Backpacks add a slot so you can carry out a third weapon.
- Prestige asks for a Rare, Epic or Legendary backpack, depending on the tier.

Which DMZ backpacks have Secure Slots?
The Medium Backpack officially adds Secure Slots. Backpacks with "Secure" in their name, like the Small Secure and Large Secure Backpack, are the dedicated Secure types; their exact slot counts have not been shown yet.
How many slots does the Basic Pack have?
Eight. Every other backpack adds more slots, and all of them have a separate pouch for resources.
Can you craft backpacks in DMZ?
Yes. The Small Backpack (25 Synthetics, 25 Metals) and Medium Backpack (50 Synthetics, 5 Rigid Synthetics) unlock at DMZ Level 2. The Secure Scavenger Backpack is also printable.
