October 29: current reward and fix status

The October 29 patch fixes Encrypted Voice Logs not spawning consistently during Ears Everywhere. Complete the hack and check the marked pickup before leaving. A missing item in an older recording is not proof of an intentional extra step. If it still fails after the update, record the platform and objective state rather than assuming the fix covers every possible failure.

Choose the correct DBN building

Track Ears Everywhere and locate Cheonwang Peak Array on the Tac Map. Look for the broadcast building within that complex. DBN Headquarters in The Grid is not this destination. The company name appears at more than one location.

Bring a normal combat kit with plates, healing and ammunition. The demonstrated route uses the building’s stairs; the objective does not list a special gadget to bring from the FOB.

Reach the second-floor server room

Enter the broadcast building, check the stairwell and go up to the second floor. Clear the next landing before stopping to search. Follow the server-room layout toward the broadcast workstation rather than treating every searchable server cabinet as the objective.

The observed station has a desk with two screens beside the server racks. Its interaction prompt, together with the active objective, identifies the Communications Broadcast System. A normal container-search prompt is a different action.

Hack and collect

  1. Check the immediate room and approach so you can finish the interaction.
  2. Use the broadcast system’s hack prompt and follow the displayed progress.
  3. After it completes, inspect the workstation and the nearby pickup for Encrypted Voice Logs.
  4. Collect that named item and check the Order’s loot objective.

If the hack is checked but the pickup is not, search the console area before leaving the floor. A CPU, Electronic Sensors or another server-room ingredient does not replace the named mission item. If the required action still receives no credit, record the exact incomplete line using the objective troubleshooting guide.

Finish the trip with a purpose

Check all three Ears Everywhere lines before departing. Loot nearby electronics only if you still have room and supplies; the Array loot route is an optional extension, not part of the broadcast hack.

Ears Everywhere also differs from Eyes Everywhere, the casino Recon Drone task. Use the Orders guide to check which one is active. If The Vault or Massive Damage remains on your current page, plan those separately rather than expecting the broadcast interaction to finish the page.

Quick questions

Is this at DBN Headquarters in The Grid?

No. This objective names the DBN TV building at Cheonwang Peak Array. The Grid skyscraper is a different destination.

Does finishing the hack complete every objective?

Check the Encrypted Voice Logs pickup separately. The Order lists both the hack and looting the resulting logs.
